An Update.

You may have noticed the lack of activity here for… wow, a little over two months. This was due to my suddenly acquiring a new job. The last update I made to this blog was published literally 10 minutes before I walked out the door to the interview. I was expecting a part-time gig a few days a week; instead I ended up with full time, in addition to my other job on the weekends. To sum up, I abruptly found myself not having a single day off for 21 days in a row, sometimes working 12-hour days, and having very little time afterward despite my attempts to iron out my schedule. It has taken me an embarrassing amount of time (due in part to the uncooperative nature of my previous employer) but I’m finally almost adjusted to this new life cycle.

Before I disappeared, I had the next entry in the (Re)installing Morrowind series underway, so it won’t be long before I return to that. In the meantime, I’ve also been playing The Elder Scrolls Online (beta, pre- and post-release) so you can expect some entries about that as well (it’s mostly awesome, by the way, but knowing me I will want to gripe about stuff like the way certain weapons hang on my character’s belt).

I also had planned a few entries about addons for World of Warcraft, which I barely play anymore, but I am still going to do. ESO also has addons (despite being brand new), so expect that as well.

In the meantime, here’s a screenshot from the ESO beta in which we stood around playing drums in an attempt to summon a GM to spawn a bugged boss. Kindly do not laugh at my graphics settings.

Well, thank you for the awesome guide, your writing is pleasant and fun to read! I understand that you have much more information to share, however, it has helped me make some choices in a fun way and has also taught me to organize and think about modding Morrowind with more clarity. Thanks!

Thank you for the kind words! I’m very glad that even in its unfinished state, this guide has helped you. Hopefully the next entry will be up by the end of the week, or even sooner. I appreciate your comment; that was the exact kind of thing I was hoping for, and it feels great to know I’m doing what I set out to do. 🙂
